| I gave this lecture at a study day at the Leeds Church Institute on Sat. 31st. Jan, 2015. The organizers asked me to address three issues: how to read the Bible in relation to sex and gender; how to read biblical passages purporting to condemn homosexuality; and how to read biblical passages which demean women as unequal with men. |
