| This is the full text of a sermon I preached in the chapel of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, in March 2008. The 'Campaign for Real Sex' was the chaplain's name for a series of sermons during Lent that year. Beginning with a light-hearted comparison with the Campaign for Real Ale, the sermon soon launches into a more serious comparison, between popular constructions of sexuality and those found embedded in Christian thought.
