| This article was originally a lecture to a conference of teachers in the UK, involved in Sex and Relationships Education. While it is nearly ten years old, I think most of the points it makes are still fresh. The Government had just published a document 'Sex and Relationship Education Guidance'. While welcoming this, I describe the huge religious and moral hiatus in the document, and show how Christian thought, progressively understood, might contribute to this contested area of the curriculum.
