| I gave this lecture to a group of about 35 students, all of them training to be clergy and ministers through the South West Ministry Training Course, on 17th Jan., 2011. I was back in my old place of employment, The College of St Mark & St John, Plymouth (now University College, Plymouth, St. Mark & St. John), lecturing in what was once the Theology and Philosophy Department. The Principal of the Course asked me to give a brief history of marriage, together with my reflections on the direction I thought the Anglican theology of marriage might take. This is the result. |
